Real estate and property
Buying, selling or protecting property in Greece starts with a lawyer who works only for you. We check titles at the Land Registry or Cadastre, coordinate with the notary and protect your ownership if it is challenged.
Request a consultationWhat we handle
- Title searches and checks for liens and other burdens
- Purchase and sale of homes, land and commercial property
- Coordination with the notary and the other party's lawyer
- Signing on your behalf under a power of attorney
- Registration of the deed in your name
- Court actions to protect ownership and possession
- Leases and recovery of unpaid rent
How it works
- Agreement on price: once you have found the property, retain your own lawyer before signing anything.
- Title search: we examine the titles at the local Land Registry or Cadastre.
- Corrections: if needed, the seller fixes title issues or removes old liens.
- Deed of sale: the notary, chosen by the buyer, drafts the deed with input from both lawyers.
- Signing and registration: the deed is signed in person or by proxy and registered in your name.
Documents usually needed
- Passport or ID
- Greek tax number (ΑΦΜ), which we can obtain for you
- Proof that the purchase funds were transferred from your bank abroad to a Greek bank account
- The seller's title deeds (requested through the seller's lawyer)
- Power of attorney, if you will not be present
